A practice with no head office to ring.

Mullum Vet is independent and locally owned, which in practice means the person deciding how your animal gets treated is the person standing in front of you. Richard has been here since 2006 and a partner since 2009. Bec runs the place alongside him.

Being a mixed practice, the day can go from a puppy vaccination to a horse dental to a call-out for a down cow. It keeps the team sharp and it means one clinic can look after everything on your property.

Acknowledgement of Country We acknowledge the Arakwal Bumberlin people of the Bundjalung Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, work and stand, and we extend our respect to surrounding clans and the wider Bundjalung Nation. We acknowledge their continuing living culture and connection to land, waters and community, and we ask that you help look after and respect country.

The clinic runs on the roof.

We put a 10kW solar system on in 2019 and it now generates around 90% of our electricity. Alongside it we recycle well beyond the kerbside bin and keep looking for the next thing to cut. Sustainability is not a page on this website, it is the power bill.
